there’s a lot of misinformation about autism that gets spread on the internet, so here’s a friendly reminder that the main symptoms of autism are as follows:

• insomnia
• an adverse reaction when exposed to direct sunlight
• highly selective eating habits
• skin that is cold to the touch
• an inability to enter churches
• long, unusually sharp canines
• a thirst for blood

if you experience several of these symptoms, you could be autistic! i recommend doing further research on your own, as i am not a doctor and cannot diagnose you, but i hope that someone finds this clarification helpful.

Objection: the average ejaculation contains 80-300 million sperm. Each individual sperm contains half the genome, which is about 800 megabytes compressed.

So your average ejaculation is 32 to 120 terabytes of data.

That would require over 10-38 million PS2 memory cards. At 2002 prices (25$ each), that is a quarter of a million to a billion dollars per ejaculation.

Okay, but that’s just an assload of duplicate data. It’d make much more sense, optimisation-wise, to reconstruct the original genome from all the partial data. Wikipedia claims that the human genome can be losslessly compressed down to about 4Mb*, which fits just fine on an 8Mb memory card.

*this number is almost certainly incorrect, but I don’t care enough to do more than 5 minutes of research for a Tumblr post
